Uniting in intent and purpose

Fellow members,

We have recently seen the situation in Connecticut, where good, decent, law abiding citizens are being forced to chose between complying with an unconstitutional mandate or becoming felons. I believe the two main reasons this is happening are ONE, because no-one in elected government can or will do anything to stop it, and TWO because the people themselves refuse to stand their ground and resist.

To that end, we, as members of this site, should do a deep search of our convictions and commitment. If this ever happened here in Tennessee, what would we do? You have to be honest with yourselves, such a situation is fraught with peril. You risk losing everything. You have to honestly weigh that and decide if you would comply or not. For those of you that ARE willing to lay it all on the line, we then need to stay in contact and form coalitions. We need to speak as one voice. We need to gather together and press our elected leaders and county sheriffs not to let this happen here.

So to that end, I offer my email address. If you wish, drop me a line at theconstitutionrocks@yahoo.com

Even if we do risk losing everything, why on earth should I chose to email my intentions to someone who I don't know? I am one of the most outgoing people on this site, hosting meets, get togethers and camp outs. I have networked and made preparations. Why would I risk all of that, all the friends and contacts, the plans and preparations by emailing an unknown entity at a yahoo address. If you wanna be taken seriously come out to a few of our shoots that members hold, shake some hands, drink some coffee, meet some people. That'll get you a lot farther than a first post full of fiery words. I am generally distrustful of people on the Internet. These kinds of things do much better to be discussed in person akong trusted individuals Tapatalk ate my spelling. Edited by Spots

Uh huh.

This is a good idea, but something of this nature is one that must be done verbally... with no record... I'll strongly second what Spots said as well. A sense of unity among we liberty-pursuing folks in our aspirations is vital, but doing so over the internet or even over phone nowadays is a good way to get a visit from the NSA, ATF, DHS, FBI... etc., etc., etc....

If by "Coalition" you mean a large group of people, mostly Americans but those who are not but believe in the American ideal, from a wide variety of occupations, from the fry cook to the surgeon and even the Politician, who believe in their stance so strongly they would argue with their brother or sister until blue in the face for what they believe in, but would treat them as brother and sister in any other form, but nearly all stand for a common goal and purpose.

Welcome, but your late to the party.

Guys, I think we can all agree here that we need to end the fed. So, to that end I'll be willing to allow you all to mail me your federal reserve notes. You know, so we can all share one voice and stuff...

Can I join your coalition?

I'm pretty busy on Thursdays but I can squeeze out some time and would happily volunteer to be the Treasurer of this new and wonderful organization...

OK...obviously I missed the boat on this one and probably overstepped my welcome. Was just trying (in hindsight maybe not well thought out) to get something going that would allow for rapid mass notification, shrug..yeah, need almost certainly isn't there right now. Probably would be overkill. I abjectly beg your forgiveness for my overzealous initiative,

Fact is, with our current government's wide scale monitoring of all forms of electronic communication, any meaningful organization probably can't happen. The good news... there are a lot of true patriots within the rank and file of our military and law enforcement agencies. So, when it comes time for the government to sick their hired guns on the American people, THEY are the ones that have some organizing to do.

You could just post information you'd like to share with us here on the forum rather than collecting information from us.

Fair enough

Shall we also send ssn numbers, addresses, and a list of guns we own?

Not at this time. It appears that the website for the database is experiencing some problems and crashes whenever someone types 2 or more letters or numbers. Try again after March 1st, we need to spend 8.6 billion dollars on tech support first.

I am sure new technology will be along before too much longer. People used to not lock their doors either.

Haha. I was more thinking in terms of electronics communication. Email and similar technologies are based on a very naive view of the world (which was not out of place at the time but which shouldn't have made it to the 21st century).
